TCS ONLINE PLACEMENT TEST

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida hosted the Online Placement Test for Tata Consultancy Services on February 20th, 2015 for B. Tech All Branches - Batch 2015.

Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) is an Indian multinational information technology (IT) service, consulting and business solutions company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. TCS operates in 46 countries. It is a subsidiary of the Tata Group and is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India. TCS is the largest Indian company by market capitalization ($80 billion) and is the largest India-based IT services company by 2013 revenues. TCS is now placed among the ‘Big 4’ most valuable IT services brands worldwide. In 2013, TCS is ranked 40th overall in the Forbes World's Most Innovative Companies ranking, making it both the highest-ranked IT services company and the top Indian company. It is the world's 10th largest IT services provider, measured by the revenues.

DGI was the center of the online test for the candidates from Delhi/NCR. Mr. Vipin from TCS visited the premises with his TEAM to facilitate the event. The test was held in the computer labs of DGI. This was scheduled in 2 slots. The first slot started at 09:30 AM and the second slot was scheduled at 12:30 PM.

The process started with the registration of the students which consisted of Bio Metric process. The Bio Metric has been the unique feature most of the big companies are adopting to have the selection process very transparent.

Post registration, the students started the test which was framed to check their Verbal Ability, Soft Skills and IQ level. The total duration of the test was 90 minutes out of which first 10 minutes were devoted to Verbal Ability and the rest 80 minutes on Soft skills and IQ Test. The students from all the branches of B.Tech actively participated in the test and brain wracked the test.

The entire activity ended at 02:00 PM. The result of the online placement activity is still awaited.
