TEGA INDUSTRIES CAMPUS PLACEMENT

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida hosted the campus placement drive for TEGA Industries for B.Tech 2016 batch from 19th November 2015 to 20th November 2015. The target audience for the drive were the Mechanical passing out students.

The Company has an extensive sales and distribution network spread over 16 countries and has adopted a “TOTAL SOLUTION” approach for servicing its customers by leveraging its in-depth knowledge of mining beneficiation processes.

The students from various colleges from Delhi/NCR and across North India participated in the campus placement. Colleges like DGI-GN, DCE-GGN, B S Anangapuria Institute of Technology, University of Petroleum and Engineering, Sharda University, RKGIT-Ghaziabad, Hindustan College of Engineering, Galgotias Group, IPEC-GZB, Ideal Institute of Technology participated in the drive.

The first day witnessed various activities like written test, Group Discussion and the result declaration. The written test was taken over by over 350+ students and comprised of various questions like Aptitude and Technical level. It also had a essay writing round to test the written capabilities of the students. The duration of this activity was 75 minutes.

Post this round, the evaluation of the test papers was done and over 103 students were tested for the second round. The second round was a GD to test the cognitive abilities of the students and to test their leadership skills. Out of 103 students participated in the second round 70 students qualified for third round.

On second day Personal Interview (PI) started with shortlisted students. Company officials Mr. Arup Kumar Raha - Deputy General Manager and Mr. Manoj Basu Vice-Chairman visited the premises with a 6 member delegation to take the things further. The students were gauged on various aspects like Technical expertise, Flexibility, Positive attitude and fitting in the company’s culture.It was a full day activity.

All the shortlisted students had to undergo a final round on 20th November 2015. This was done by the CMD of the company. All the students went through the same.

The final result of the placement activity is still awaited.
