ADHIGAMAN 2013

The staff and students of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, bid farewell, to the outgoing batch of 2013, in an emotionally charged cultural Extravaganza “ADHIGAMAN 2013” organized on 2nd May 2013. The event was hosted to perfection by the students of First, Second and Third year, making it a memorable day for the outgoing batch.

The function was presided over by Dr. T. R. Kem, Former Secretary, University Grants Commission, MHRD, Govt. of India who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Satish Yadav, Chairman, Dronacharya Group of Institutions added elegance to the event as a guest of honour to join the junior students as they bid farewell to the outgoing batch he has seen grow from freshers to successful technocrats.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from all branches and it was a perfect blend of culture and modern trends, in a colorful ceremony comprising of mellifluous songs, foot tapping Western, Arabic and Classical Dance performances, and emotional speeches as the juniors performed to bid the Final Year students a farewell. The event also witnessed an active participation from the outgoing batch in the “Ms. And Mr. Versatile Dronacharyan” contest, where Ms. Anumeha Bhanot and Mr. Abhishek Tomar from CSE won the titles.

The outgoing batch students, who attended the programme, were visibly moved by the warm wishes they received from their juniors. Some of them also got emotional and recollected all memorable moments they had spent in their college days.

The academic merit holders and outstanding achievers in various categories from all branches were given award and certificates by the Chief Guest, as the audience cheered for them. The event came to an end with distribution of mementoes to all students of the passing out batch followed by lunch.
