AMCAT

Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptability Test (AMCAT) was held on April 3rd, 2013 at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida for 2013 Batch. The students of B.Tech - CSE, IT, ECE and MIE as well as MBA participated in the test. The test started at 11:30 AM and ended at 02:30 PM.

AMCAT is an adaptive test which means that if the first answer is correct, the following question will be more difficult than the first one and vice- versa. Thus, giving every student a fair opportunity to score good.

This test was hosted by Aspiring Minds to enhance the employability of the students. It was a 3 hour test which comprised of the following modules.

1) English Usage

2) Quantitative Techniques

3) Logical Reasoning

4) Technical Domain (Java, Semiconductor, HTML etc.)

This test is taken with a view to increase the placement opportunities for the final year students. It had multiple modules with maximum marks of 800. As per the industry norms the marks of 550+ are considered good.

All the students who did score well in the previous assessments tried their best to increase their scores, thus maximizing placement opportunities for themselves.
