As part of ongoing Digital India Week, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida celebrated 7th July 2015 in collaboration with e-Yantra a Project of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) sponsored by Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India through ICT (NMEICT).
Besides Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Bagga Director, DGI, Gr. Noida, the celebration was attended by Prof. B. L. Kaul, Registrar, Prof. Ashwani Kumar, Administrator Academics, all the Heads of Departments and faculty members.
Prof. Bagga highlighted the objectives and importance of e-Yantra projects and presented statistical data about e-Yantra Robotics Competitions.
Prof. D. V. Bhise, Head of Department, Department of Mechanical Engineering, highlighted initiative taken up by e-Yantra Robotic Lab at DGI, Greater Noida.
A short e-Yantra film that provided an overview of e-Yantra initiative was shown to the audience. Glimpses of SYRC-2015 finals were also shown on this occasion.
Prof. Bhise said that the Digital India Week initiative will help in improving the quality of projects being taken up by the students. The amount of awareness being created through Digital India Week celebration throughout Nation will revamp the zeal of students.
He thanked the Director, Registrar, HODs and all other staff members for their support in setting up of e-Yantra Lab at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida.
