INDUSTRIAL VISIT

CSI Student Chapter of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an Industrial Visit to Aptron Solutions Pvt. Ltd. on 10th November 2016. Thirty two students of CSE & IT Department along with two faculty members Ms. Shalini Sharma and Ms. Monu Singh of CSE Department of DGI, Greater Noida visited the company.

The main objective of the visit was to make students aware about how various activities related to technology in the field of Networking is carried out in the industry.

APTRON Solutions has provided individual and corporate clients with a superior learning experience under the brand name of CCNA Experts in Educational Services.

The session was conducted by Mr. Yogendra (Cisco Trainer), where he provided an in-depth knowledge about the basics of networking, Cisco Packet Tracer, creating virtual networks and tracing packets. He also discussed the importance of networking certifications and its importance in the day to day life i.e the CCNA (Cisco certified Network Associate), CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) and CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert). He also explained various projects under the Umbrella of APTRON Solutions. The official also informed students regarding various jobs opportunities present in current market scenario both in public and private sector.

The students then visited the APTRON Labs and server rooms where they saw the real time implementation and maintenance of racks and routers. During the lab visit, Mr. Yogendra also explained the students about various networking devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, hubs etc. He also explained the ways to connect these devices and maintain them with the help of various networking commands.

The students also learnt to identify the ability of network infrastructure that supports its applications and how it is affecting the overall experience for users. Mr. Yogendra also discussed how the world is making legacy and network technologies work together. With the help of an example, he also explained connecting several computers in a LAN with the help of a switch, installs IP addresses to the computers and managing them with only one machine and IOS.

The visit concluded with an interactive questions and answers session in which students raised questions and their doubts on the topic which were cleared by experts. Certificate of participation was distributed among the students. The industrial visit to Aptron Solutions Pvt. Ltd. proved to be very enriching for the students.
