MICROSOFT INTERN HIRING

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida hosted a two day event for Microsoft for the intern hiring on December 12th and 13th , 2013. This event primarily focused on the 3rd year students. DGI, Greater Noida was the center for the Northern region of India. Various students from DTU- Delhi, IITs’ various NITs’ competed with each other to prove their Technical abilities.

A TEAM of 11 delegates visited the premises to facilitate the event. Mr. Mirza Akbar Baig - HR Manager – Microsoft India and Mr. Depender Singh- Head SEO division of Microsoft India were the coordinators for the event.

The first day started with the written test for the students. They were asked to solve 2 questions and the duration of the test was 60 minutes. The test was thoroughly technical in nature and comprised of various coding issues and algorithmic issues. After the test the next round was the first face to face interview with the Technical TEAM. Each interviewee went through a rigorous questionnaire. Each interview went for a minimum of 60 minutes.

Post the first interview the next and the last round was scheduled with Mr. Depender Singh. This was more rigorous in nature and further brain storming was done. The same process went for both the days.
