A MOCK GATE Test was conducted on October 22nd, 2013 for B.Tech final year students at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida .The test was conducted by GATEFORUM – Greater Noida bench.
The representatives from GATEFORUM- Mr. Satya Prakash, Mr. Girish visited the college to facilitate the same. The test started at 10:00 am with the online registration of the students. 22 students from all the branches of B.Tech participated in the test.
The test was based on the changed patterns of the GATE examination. The duration of the test was 3 hours and there were several questions based on general aptitude, database management system, technical domain etc.
Each question was of either 2 or 1 mark with negative marking. The USP of the test was that it displayed the test result immediately after the submission of the test.
The students gained a lot of knowledge and got an insight of the new test parameter of GATE.
