A Brief Profile of Prof. Anita Dhir

Prof. Anita Dhir is the President and CEO of Medhira Enterprises with clients on project management and consultations in USA, Europe, India and Mauritius. She is also an Adjunt Professor at New York University and Long island university for the Project Management certification program. She has degrees in Physics and Computer Engineering (Artificial Intelligence). Prof. Dhir is a systems thinker who emphasizes the importance of gaining knowledge and building relationships to achieve success. She has over 18 years of experience of working with Fortune 500 companies across the world managing strategic quality and project management initiatives.

About the Seminar on Research Project conducted by Prof. Anita Dhir on 07 Jan 2011

Prof. Anita Dhir, accompanied by Dr. J P Dudeja, Advisor (R&D), visited DCE Gr Noida on 7th Jan 2011. After discussions with the Principal, she visited various Labs and subsequently interacted with the Faculty and the students of our College.

The main outcome of her visit is as follows:

During the summer break in 2011, she will interact for 5-6 weeks with about 30-40 students (say 35) drawn from pre-final year batch of CSE, IT, ECE, ME, AND MBA. There will be 7 groups (for 35 students), each group comprising of 3 Engg students and 2 MBA students. This way, there will be 7 different research projects (one project per group) for the students to pursue in their final year.

These things will get clearer and more sharpened through several interactions between Prof. Anita Dhir and ourselves by Emails.
