Workshop on Robotics & Embedded Systems for achieving excellence in management was organized by Mechanical Engineering Department at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida on 25th Sept. 2013. The workshop was attended by 63 students of II & III year Mechanical Engineering Department along with faculty member.
Resource person for the workshop were Mr. Amitesh Ranjan, Executive Director, & Mr. Tarun, Technical Consultant from Infotrust India Pvt. Ltd. Infotrust is an IT industry that deals in software trading as well as software training.
At the outset Prof. D V Bhise, HOD, Mechanical Engineering Department introduced guest speaker Mr. Amitesh Ranjan, Executive Director, & Mr. Tarun. He also mentioned briefly about relevance and importance of organizing this workshop.
Mr. Amitesh Ranjan opened the topic with company introduction & their tie-ups with various industries. He emphasized importance of Robotics for Mechanical Engineering students.
Mr. Tarun discussed in detail about Programming of wired as well as wireless Robots. He further discussed hardware requirement and assembling of Robots. Demonstration was given on coding obstacle avoider Robots.
Specific application of these Robots was also discussed at length. Students were completely involved during the seminar and asked lot of questions pertaining to programming and assembling of Robots.
