DGI SMILE CLUB

SMILE (Sharing Moments and Illuminating Lives Everywhere) Club of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized One Day Visit to a Primary School at Alpha-I Greater Noida on 30th November 2013. The objective of the program was to build self esteem of children by edutainment and activity based learning.

SMILE CLUB headed by Dr. Shilpi Saxena under the guidance of Dr.V.R. Soodand students Laxminarayan, Suraj Yadav, Saurabh Sharma, Pooja, Vishal, Jithen and Aatmika with the aspiration of Sharing Moments and Illuminating Lives Everywhere reached the school at 11:00am. The classes were categorized in three standards, Nursery, combined L.K.G. and U.K.G. and First Standard. Smiling Faces and innocent minds of tiny tots welcomed the members of SMILE CLUB.

The day began with the drawing competition where tiny tots with utmost dedication sketched their creativity on the topics like “Scenery” and “Indian Flag”.

Thereafter, members of SMILE Club recited Nursery Rhymes and motivated children to follow them. Children also came up with mesmerizing poems and won the hearts of all.

Later Vishal (ME III) played guitar and mesmerized the children with his music. They enjoyed the music and expressed their zeal by performing dance.

Smileys, chocolates and other gifts were distributed to the winners of drawing competition and other activities. Smile club also gifted First-Aid-Box to the School.

The best gift was gifted to the members of the SMILE Club - The smiling faces of the innocent childhood.
