Workshop on

Mind Power Development

A workshop on “Mind Power Development” was conducted by Rajyoga Educations & Research Foundation at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida on 21st September, 2013 for B.Tech 1st year students. The objective of the Workshop was to develop self-confidence and to enhance concentration ability of our students.

Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Rani Sood, HOD-APS, welcomed Sister Preeti, Trainer- Rajyoga Educations & Research Foundation and her team and hoped that the workshop would help students concentrate and work on their goals.

Inaugurating the workshop, Director, Prof. (Dr.) M.S. Murali said that human mind is a great source of power that can help anyone achieve great heights if used with precision and caution.

Sister Preeti in her address said that every child possess one of the most powerful gadgets in his mind. The sad fact is that it is grossly underutilized. A cluster of mental blocks and the lack of scientific approach obstructs the flowering of the winner in a child. She said that the workshop would sharpen the memory and help students remember critical information Sister Preeti anchored the skit on ‘Deadly Habits’ of smoking and drinking which is the main cause of the young generation getting mislead. It was a heart touching way of conveying a social cause.

During the workshop various meditation techniques were taught to the students to burst the stress of daily life. Tips were given by the ‘Shanti Doots’ to overcome the stress through a very impressive way. One of the speakers, Mr. Bharat, Mr. India, 2007, shared his invaluable experiences of meditation.

The workshop was extremely useful for the students to get a better take-off in their career. It helped in proper visualization and organization of facts and accelerate the thinking process.
