The 4th International Trade Fair of Furniture Production Technology, Woodworking Machinery, Tools, Fittings, Raw Materials and Products was organized at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida on 6th February, 2015 by Pradeep Deviah Associates (PDA). Mr. Ankush Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida along with 39 students of Mechanical & Civil Engineering Engineering branch attended the International Trade Fair. The event was India’s only event dedicated to wood craft.

The fair attracted 450 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, and approximately 15,000 visitors from all over India and neighbouring countries.

Apart from woodworking machinery, furniture accessories and fittings, most advanced systems and tools for wood working software were also exhibited. This visit opened the horizon of knowledge for the students of Mechanical/Civil Engineering. Students saw latest CNC self- programmable machine which is used for engraving fine quality designs on the wooden doors and pallets.

Prominent global exhibitors across the globe showcased latest and innovative trade fair of furniture production technology, woodworking machinery, tools, fittings, raw materials and products advances and services that aid learning, teaching and skill improvement.

Wood Craft - 2015 trade fair provided unique insights for both students and faculty. This opportunity for experiencing the innovations and new class defining products enlarged their horizon of knowledge and will certainly help to introduce the students with the advancing world. An interaction with foreign delegates generated an immense amount of interest for novelty among the students and motivated them to push their own boundaries.
