A Placement Talk by Mr. Rushant Rastogi, from SAINT GOBAIN Ltd. was organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering on 13th February, 2015 for Mechanical 2nd and 3rd year students.

The lecture was intended to make the students aware of the niceties of the job-world. Mr. Rushant started his lecture with a brief introduction about himself and his practical experiences at SAINT GOBAIN. He focused his lecture on the preparation of mind for diversified career in a very understandable way. He made students understand the present job scenario, so that they would be able to prepare themselves accordingly.

He posed thought stimulating queries to the students on the benefits of all the lab practicals in engineering. He created much interest in doing new projects and for participating in competitions/exhibitions & undergo trainings in reputed organizations for better practical knowledge. He emphasized on strong work ethics and good communication skills for the employees.

He suggested students to take preparatory tests for interviews very seriously. He discussed more on tips for cracking GD and Interview. He motivated students to get enrolled in various mechanical software courses like Autocad, CATIA and also to get C, C++ certified.

The program proved to be very interactive and Students were able to get a clear understanding of what they need to do in order to brighten their future. The program ended with Q & A session where Mr. Rushant resolved the queries of the students.
