The manufacturing process comprises 6 basic steps:
1. Blanking - Blanking is nothing but cutting the sheet into desired dimension.
2. Pressing - Pressing or Stamping is done in order to create different structure and holes as per the required dimensions like making doors, window, gates etc
3. Welding - In welding shop, doors and lower portions were welded in order to get attached to the engine.
4. Painting - Cathode electron deposit painting is done on the body after removing the dust and oil.
5. Assembling - Assembling is process in which with the help of movable robots, the car body is sent to the assembly shop where engines are fixed which requires more than 500 parts altogether.
6. Inspection - Complete fitted car is sent for inspection. Inspection section contains various parameters for testing the car which included speed, brake, fuel, vibration, leakage etc. |
