Mangalmay Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized two days cultural event ‘Octavia 2014’ during 20th - 21st February, 2014. The event comprised various competitions such as Dance, Singing, Extempore, Essay Writing, T- Shirt Painting etc. The objective of the event was to unlock the creativity and hidden talent of the students. Mr. Arun Chaudhary, I.P.S., Gautam Budh Nagar was the Chief Guest for the event.

Students from various colleges of NCR region participated in the event to exhibit their talent. Vishal Pratap Singh, Mechanical Engineering IVth Semester from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida participated in the singing competition and secured 1st position among all the contestants.

The competition was organized in two rounds where the participants had to show their talent. In the first round, Vishal Pratap Singh presented a Mashup song and mesmerized the audience with his magical voice. In the final round he presented the song “Har Kisi ko Nahi Milta Yaha Pyar Zindagi Me” which created a spell bound effect and won the heart of everyone present there.

Vishal Pratap Singh received recognition for his excellence in music competition and his performance was appreciated by the judges and the organizing committee. He was honored with a certificate and a memento for his wonderful performance.
