4th VISION RAJASTHAN

Budding Innovator Award was won by three students from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida during National Inter-Collegiate Mini Project Competition - 4th VISION Rajasthan 2013 held at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur, Rajasthan during 4th-6th February 2013.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the Chief Guest- Sh.Mahesh Joshi, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Jaipur.

The following projects developed by the students won them the award:

1. 3 D LED KUBOS                        :                        Rajat Sharma (ECE VIII)

                                                                                       Varunesh Sharma (ECE VIII)

2. Lift without Electric Power :                        Diwakar Khuswaha (ME VI)

Both the projects were well received by Hon’ble MP, Sh. Mahesh Joshi. He opined that “Lift without Electric Power” has a scope in present scenario as an energy saving alternative to conventional lifts.

Visitors came forward with many suggestions for modification in the concept and making it more efficient. Both these projects were covered by various news channels.

Following are some of the valuable suggestions/feedback for our project:

1. Mr. Amit Saxena, AGM - Siemens

    Mr. Saxena showed keen interest in prototype of lift developed and advised to make it functional and save the environmental    presources.

2. Mr. Vijendra Kumar, GM, State Transportation Corporation

    Mr. Kumar appreciated the projects.

3. Mr. Navneet Chawla, Marine Engineer

   He said that the concept is awesome and totally radical. He suggested applying for patent of the same.

It was a great learning experience for the students.
