CSI Student Branch - Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noidaorganised a Two Day Training on “vCampus” which was conducted by Ted Consulting, Noida on 6th & 7th March 2017. Fifty Five (55) students of CSE & CSIT Second Year attended the workshop.

The objective of the workshop was to create awareness among the students on vCampus module and enhancing their knowledge in Web application developments and profile - creation on vCampus module.

The program was coordinated by Ms. Shalini Sharma (SBC - CSI DGI Chapter), Mr. Manoj Kumar Yadav (Assistant Professor, CSE Department) and Mr. Apraitm Kumar Singh, student of CSE Second Year.

The session started with the floral welcome of Mr. Aurbind Sharma, Managing Director and Mr. Vikas Pandey, Senior Trainer - Ted Consulting, by Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Bagga, Director, DGI, Greater Noida.

Day 1: 6th March 2017

Mr. Aurbind Sharma explained the significance of the web applications and the importance of vCampus cloud. Mr. Vikas explained the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and web page development procedure. He also explained the registration process on Dronacharya.edu.in to host a page.

Day 2: 7th March 2017

On the second day, the session started with a recap of the first day. Mr. Vikas guided the students to advance level of hands-on training with the use of various add - on tools of the vCampus portal. He also explained PHP and Java-Script concepts and their applications on web designing.

The workshop was interactive, informative and provided an opportunity to learn web development application.
