Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, organized a Guest Lecture on MOSFET on 19th October, 2013 by Mr. Ashok Sihag, Research Associate, GautamBudha University, Greater Noida.
The event started with Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Rani Sood, Head of Department, APS welcoming and introducing Mr. Sihag. The objective of the lecture was to enhance the knowledge of Electronics Engineering of B. Tech First Year students.
Mr. Sihag discussed in detail the Metal Oxide Semiconductor and Field Effect Transistor. He started with the basic concept of transistor and semiconductors, covering the over view of the topic. He explained this tough topic in such a way that students got it easily and became inquisitive.
The event came to a close with Prof. (Dr) M.S Murali, Director, DGI, Greater Noida presenting a memento and a journal of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida to the speaker. The Director appreciated the efforts put in by the speaker and encouraged the students to work hard and take advantage of such opportunities.
