Attended Microsoft Tech Days held at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi on 22nd March 2013. The content for Tech Days events was designed to cater to job-related prerequisites of Professional Developers, Architects, Infrastructure Professionals and IT Managers. It was a unique opportunity for the participants to listen to and learn from the experts.

The event started with the keynotes from experts, Mr. Balaji Kesavaraj (Director Cross Audience Marketing - DPE | Microsoft India) and Mr. Scott Woodgate (Sr. Director - Windows Azure Product Marketing, Microsoft Corporation). The Event focused on Platform for Windows Store Apps, Designing Windows Store Apps, Windows Store Apps for .NET developers and moving the web forward with Internet Explorer 10.

Mr. Balaji Kesavaraj started the event with an introduction to the TechDays. He said that it started in October 2012 and is still going on. Till date it has covered 51 cities across India. Mr. Scott Woodgate introduced the audience to Windows Azure Platform. He was accompanied by his team mates Ms. Saranya Sriram, Developer Evangelist in Microsoft India and Mr. Harish Ranganathan, WebDeveloper Evanlelist DPE, Microsoft India.

The event was divided in two tracks for developers which were conducted simultaneously. It was a highly educative session where participants learned the first track which included New Developer Capabilities on the Windows Azure Cloud Services, Enhancements in ASP.NET, Building MVVM JavaScript Apps and Modeling Agile software development practices. Hands-on-Lab to practically implement what was learnt throughout the day, was conducted during the final session of the event. It was a great experience for the participants to be there, meeting the experts and getting trained by them.
