The Department of Applied Science & Humanities of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a Workshop on Engineering Mechanics on 26th Oct 2013 for the first year students. Dr. Brajesh Tripathi, Assistant professor, School of Engineering, Gautam Budha University, Greater Noida was the resource person. The objective of this workshop was to impart the students with the knowledge of Engineering Mechanics.

Dr. V. R. Sood, Head of Department, Applied Science, Dronacharya Group of Institutions welcomed the Guest Speaker. Dr. Tripathi interacted with the students and discussed various topics like:

1. Introduction to Engineering Mechanics.

2. Fundamentals of Engineering Mechanics.

3. Trusses: Method of Joints and Method of Section.

4. Varignon’s Theorem, etc.
