Four Students from Computer Science & Engineering Department, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida attended a Workshop and a Computing Competition at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi delivered by Computing experts from Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom on 7th March, 2014. The event was organized at Hall 101, Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

The workshop was led by Mr. Stephen Lofthouse, Course Leader for the MSc in Big Data Analytics at Sheffield Hallam University . The event was attended by about 190 students, 43 students attended the workshops following a public lecture on ‘The Changing Face of Malicious Hacking’ by Neil Richardson, Course Leader, MSc Information Systems Security.

During his address, Stephen Lofthouse, Sheffield Hallam University, said, "It's important to highlight different types of hacks, what they look like and why they happen. In the coming years, business and organizations across the world will need more and more professionals who can keep information secure from hackers.”

The participants from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida included Johny Moses, Darpan Gupta, Kirti Gupta and Suprabha Pandey. The workshop was followed by a Hacking Contest. The Team of students from Dronacharya Group of Institutions won the contest. They were awarded with a Memento and Certificate.
