Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida wins four awards at the
AWARD CEREMONY BY EMPLOYABILITY TIMES IN ASSOCIATION WITH BST CAMPUS
Employability Times.com in association with BST Campus organized a National level competition on projects by Finalyear engineering students in various categories namely Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Information Technology.
Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida submitted eighteen projects, six in Mechanical, four in ECE, four in CSE and four in IT. All eighteen projects submitted were nominated for evaluation and selection. This singular achievement brought kudos to the College. The awards were divided in two categories. The social selection award and the jury award.
The award function was held on 11 May 2012 at College of Engineering, Pune. The jury members were Prof S.K.Kak, Vice-Chancellor of Mahamaya Technical University, Prof S. S. Mantha, Chairman, AICTE, R. Ganesh Natarajan, Vice-Chairman and CEO, Zensar Technologies and Dr.Sandhya Chintala, Executive Director, Nasscom.
In the social selection category two projects of ECE , Global Control System and Hand Gesture Based Wheel Chair were awarded the second and third prize.

One project in Mechanical and one in ECE were shortlisted for jury award. Forced Speed Control project of Mechanical was very highly appreciated and praised by all. Special mention was made by the Chief Jury Dr.Ganesh Natarajan as an extremely innovative and useful project.
Mr.Anand Agrawal, CEO and co-founder of Bootstrap explained the project management platform of Bootstrap in detail and guided the participants as to the efficacy of the platform.
Dr. Anil Sahasrabuddhe, Director - College of Engineering, Pune explained the importance of project work and motivated students to become entrepreuners. Vote of thanks was proposed and thereafter certificates to participants of nominated projects distributed and the function concluded at an optimistic note.
