WORKSHOP-FICCI

A workshop on “Innovation Readiness Programme” was conducted at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida on 28th September, 2012. It was attended by students from MBA, MCA and B.Tech. The workshop was organized by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

The speakers included :

Dr. Donna Kidman - Director, Innovation Online IC2 Institute, The University of Texas, Austin, and Mr. Ravi Ranjan - Operations Head - Incubator, India Angel Network.

The objective of the workshop was to discuss :

1. Innovation as a technical tool, to provide newer solution to the market.

2. There is a difference between developing a product / service and developing a business.

3. Innovation is an effect in economy and society.

4. A change in behavior or a change in process, i.e., how people live, work, and play.

5. Successful innovation.

6. Commercialization- from idea stage to market.

The workshop encouraged the students to bring out the ideas and concepts of different products.
