Nodal Level competition for ROBO-ZEST '13, A National Level Workshop Series Cum championship to be held in August 2013 at IIT-Guwahati was held at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida on 22nd-23rd March 2013. It was sponsored and funded by India’s biggest robotics & technical education provider company, Robo Species Technologies Pvt Ltd.

The workshop on Robotics started with huge anticipation of students with a strong willingness for learning the basics of robots. The resource persons Mr. Varun and Mr. Pranjal working as research scientist with Robospecies Technologies emphasized that robots as a sovereign machine have become the most important and inevitable part of human lives.

Mr. Varun and Mr. Pranjal were welcomed by the Director Prof. (Dr.) M. S Murali. An illuminating speech by honorable Director regarding the importance of the workshop paced up the zeal and enthusiasm in the students.

Robotic workshop comprised of three stages.

Stage 1 started with the introductory session and demonstration by the resource person which was highly knowledge some for the students. The session highlighted various aspects in the field of robotics

The students were provided the kits for assembling of the robots. After assembling and programming of robot, the robots were tested.

Stage 2 was preliminary round in which students participated in a competition round.

Two teams were declared winners at the end of stage two:

These two teams will represent DGI Greater Noida for Stage 3 (Final Round) to be held at IIT Guwahati in the month of Aug. 2013.
