Dronacharya Group of Institutions Greater Noida always encourages the faculty members to participate in different kind of Seminars/Conferences/Workshops. Recently, Prof. (Dr.) Neelam Saxena HOD, (MBA) attended the workshop on “Idea Generation towards entrepreneurship” organized by ED Cell of JRE in association with NEN on 12th of January, 2013. The objective of conducting the program was to aware of what entrepreneurship is all about and how to ideate.

The schedule of the program consisted of

1. How Paradigm’s are created

2. Idea Generation

       a. Ideas from India

       b. Close to heart

The session on idea generation was conducted for the students. The batch of 100 +students was divided into group of 8 students. And Ideas from India were taken in the first hour. The importance of opportunity idintification and gap analysis was done.

The second activity Close to heart was done individually andthen evaluation of the idea on the basis of 5 Q was done and the importance of the parameters discussed.the Vice Chancellor ended the workshop with a talk on the importance of getting the idea right.
