The afternoon session was conducted by Dr. Sunil Gupta on the topic “A Good Case Vs Poor Case” where he discussed that the process of arriving at an answer is more important than the answer itself. In the process of arriving at an answer the student learns to support the decisions with appropriate analysis and communicate ideas both orally and in writing thus differentiating between a good case and poor case.

The workshop entirely focused on developing a good case, processing it to an informative case and practicing the case adds to the knowledge base of the student where there is an action question that always allow analysis. The concept of K-S-A model that is Knowledge, Skill and Attitude is the primary requirement in the two way process of teaching and learning. The case studies with good analysis can be used for different teaching-learning scenarios such as lectures, reading, audio visual, demonstration, practice and teaching.

On 24th March 2013, Dr. Harish Chaudhry concluded the session. He reiterated that case study methodology creates and sets a simulated real life environment within the classroom and learning becomes internalized. The session also included case study presentations by different participants along with discussion. The workshop ended on 24th March 2013 with distribution of certificates to all the participants. The workshop ended with the main note that “Vision gives direction to the organization”.
