A National Conference on “INNOVATIVE STRATEGIES FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY" was organized by Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad, on 30th November, 2013. The Conference was inaugurated by Prof. R. K. Khandal, Vice Chancellor, UPTU, Lucknow at 9:30 a.m.

Shri Lalit Jaiswal Chaired of the Conference along with Sh. R.C Jain. Convener for the Conference was Dr. N. K. Sharma. Other prominent speakers and invitees included Shri A. N. Gupta, Shri Atul Garg, Shri Rakesh Goel, and many more erudite scholars.

Dr. Ritu Soryan, Assitant Professor, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, presented her paper titled "Role of Values to Overcome from stress" during the conference. Her research paper tries to examine some of present day’s important issues like stress and depression, their causes, and how to overcome them. The axe is useful as long as it cuts; the tree is important as long as it bears fruit, the cow as long as it gives milk, this rule applies to everything in the natural world, for all is interrelated. It also applies to humans. Humans are useful so long as they practice human values or are able to fight with the whips and socks of life and are able to overcome from stress.

Dr. Soryan said that when we fail to do this, we are a danger to ourselves and to the planet and the other life forms that dwell here. Thinking with love is Truth, Feeling with love is peace. Acting with love is right conduct understanding with love is non- violence. Her paper provides insight about this very essential aspect of values in view of real condition of human being in present scenario.
