WORLD CONFERENCE ON
“ADVANCES IN COMMUNICATION & CONTROL SYSTEMS”
6th - 8th April, 2013
 
 

Mr. Akhilesh Dwivedi, Assistant Professor, Department of Information Technology attended World Conference on “ADVANCES IN COMMUNICATION & CONTROL SYSTEMS” during 6th to 8th April, 2013 at Vedanta, DIT University, Dehradun Uttarakhand. He presented a paper on “Development of Semantic E-Learning Web using Protégé”, which is co-authored by Aparna Bawankan B.Tech-IT-4111.

 

The conference was sponsored by Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi for persons desirous of sharpening their research and development skills and competencies. 397 papers were received for CACCS-2013 out of which 167 were accepted for publication.

 

The conference was inaugurated by Prof. Andy Valdar, Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering, University College London, Torrington Place, London. He enlightened the conference on new research area of networks and focused his talk on “Future of voice switching”.

 

Prof. (Dr.) Ajith Abraham Director - Machine Intelligence Research Labs (MIR Labs), Scientific Network for Innovation and Research Excellence (SNIRE), Auburn, Washington, USA, delivered a talk on “Soft Computing and Machine Intelligence”.

 

Prof. S. L. Maskara, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur spoke about research areas of mobile computing.

 

The main objective of the International conference was to take stock of current scenario of advances in Research and Development in Computer and Electronics Engineering Technologies available across the globe. It was to discuss about the regional preference for pragmatic Information Technologies and to create a network for International co-operation in Communication and Allied Technologies. The delegates from different world class institution from U.K, USA and India participated in this International Conference.

 

The CACCS-2013 was a great contribution towards various engineering discipline which explored ample opportunities. It provided a valuable platform for the exchange of ideas between invited delegates and researchers, IT professionals, Engineers and Scientist and students.

 

The paper presented by Mr. Akhilesh Dwivedi and Aparna Bawankan focused on the development of Semantic E-Learning Web using Protégé. Semantic web is a new generation web where human and machine agents can work conjointly. The paper was highly valued by the dignitaries and researchers.
