ADHIGAMAN 2012

The staff and students of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, bid farewell, to the outgoing batch of 2012, in an emotionally charged cultural Extravaganza “Adhigaman-2012” on 23rd April 2012. The students of First, second and third years played perfect hosts to their seniors, who are set to leave college after university examination.

The function was presided over by Air Marshal P. S. Bhangu, recipient of Param Visisth Seva Meda (PVSM), Ati Visisth Seva Medal (AVSM) and Visisth Medal (VM) who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Satish Yadav, Chairman, Dronacharya Group of Institutions joined the event as a guest of honour to bid farewell to a batch he has seen grow from freshers to successful technocrats.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from all branches and it was a perfect blend of culture and modern trends, drawn from the huge pool of talent. A melody of songs, foot tapping dance performances, and emotional speeches as the juniors performed to bid the final year students a farewell.

The outgoing batch students were visibly moved by the “warm reception” that they received from their juniors. Some of them also got emotional and recollected all memorable moments they had spent in their college days.

The merit holders from all branches were given award and certificates by the Chief Guest, as the audience cheered for them. In his address to the students, Air Marshal P. S. Bhangu congratulated the passing out batch and stressed the importance of punctuality in all aspects of life, along with physical fitness and spirituality.

The event came to an end with distribution of mementoes to all students of the passing out batch.
