A motivational workshop was conducted by Indian Air force at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida for Pre-Final and Final Year students on 13th August 2012. The seminar was headed by Squadron Leader Arpan Chanda and his colleague, Flt. Lieutenant Narendra Singh.
The Indian Air force team arrived in the college premises at 10:00 am They were felicitated by Director, Prof. (Dr.) M. S. Murali.
The session started with a very motivating video presentation and introduction of IAF by Squadron Leader Arpan Chanda.
Thereafter, Flt. Lieutenant Narendra Singh explained the eligibility criteria and the mode of entry for different trades of the IAF. It was a 360’ sphere where life in IAF, perks, remuneration etc., was explained in detail.
The presentation was followed with a question–answer session. The students participated very actively during this session. Each person asking a question or answering a question was given a memento from IAF.
The students are highly encouraged and some showed keen interest to be a part of IAF after their graduation. The workshop was very educative.
Finally, the session ended at 01:00 pm with a Vote of Thanks from Prof. T. P. N. Singh.
