Devendra Kumar Yadav a student of B.Tech-ME V Semester participated in International Level Essay Contest Organized by The Goi Peace Foundation and UNESCO. This contest was endorsed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Japanese National Commission for UNESCO, Japan Private High School Federation, Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education, Japan Broadcasting Corporation, Nikkei Inc and supported by FELISSIMO CORPORATION.

The theme of the contest was “THE POWER OF CULTURE TO CREATE A BETTER FUTURE”.

Original and unpublished essays written by one person were invited under different categories:

a) Children (aged up to 14)

b) Youth (ages 15 - 25)

Devendra’s essay was highly appreciated. Final results will be announced in the month of November 2013. Winners will be invited to the award ceremony in Tokyo, Japan scheduled for November 2013.
