Workshop Report
IBM TGMC Project Competition
21st & 22nd June 2013
 
 

CSE Department, Dronacharya Group of Institutions organized a two day workshop in collaboration with IBM India on 21st & 22nd June 2013 for the students of CSE and IT Department. The workshop was organized for project implementation, to be submitted for IBM TGMC 2012 contest.

 

IBM TGMC is the biggest technological National level contest recognized by Limca Book of Records. The workshop was attended by 55 students from CSE and IT department and the enthusiastic participants took the challenge of developing a working project within a two day period with competitive spirit.

 

The workshop was coordinated by Mr. Akhilesh Soni, representing IBM. He guided the faculty and students in designing the problem statement and the basic Implementation on the first day of the workshop. The students were divided into teams and were assigned for a marathon overnight coding project, to be completed the next day.

 

The second day of the workshop focused on debugging, documentation and packaging the projects to be delivered to IBM for the project competition. The effort was supported by a 24*7 review team from IBM who helped the students complete their projects and submit a valid quality project to IBM. A total of 50 projects were submitted to IBM TGMC through the trainer.
