NATIONAL LEVEL VENDOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION

A visit to “National Level Vendor Development Programme Cum Industrial Exhibition” at City Park, Greater Noida was organized by Mechanical Engineering Department on 21st Oct 2013. Students of III, V and VII semester along with six faculty members visited City Park to acquire knowledge on modern technology.

 

The purpose of this exhibition is to develop potential MSEs as Vendor for central ministries/Deptt., like Defence, Railways, Public sector undertakings and other medium and large enterprises. Different stalls at the exhibition displayed and demonstrated current trends of technology being used by industry for manufacturing their products together with production aids, accessories, consumables, software and consultancy to address today's rapidly changing productivity and quality requirements.

 

Some of the stall that excited the students most were:

1. The ‘P.S Agritech Pvt. Ltd.’ Provided detailed overview on high quality steel and stainless steel forging in rough and machined condition and fabricated products. They gave an over view on forge shop, tool room, die shop, physical testing facility , QC Inspection Equipment and Heat treatment equipment’s.

2. The ‘Cenlub Industries Ltd.’ helped in understanding the need of centralized lubrication system for attaining wider performance, better efficiency and long life of machines. Also discussed about single shot lubrication system, Dual line grease lubrication system, Motor pump lubrication system, Pneumatic transfer pump with their applications.

3. The ‘Techno-Weld Equipment’s’ gave better knowledge about types of welding machines, Automation welding and cutting machines.

4. The ‘Kent Air Eco Corporation Ltd.’ demonstrated the details about water treatment, solar power and security division.

5. The ‘CBS Technologies Pvt. Ltd.’ displayed transformer oil cleaning system.

 

The visit to ‘exhibition’ was very informative and helpful in providing real life exposure to state of art systems used in industries. It proved to be learning and fruitful experience for both students and faculty members.
