A “Workshop on JAVA STRUTS AJAX and JQuery” was organized by IEEE – DGI STUDENT BRANCH in association with WebTek Labs Pvt Ltd. (India) on Monday, 9th December’ 2013 at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida. It was conducted by Mr. Jayant and Mr. Ashutosh Tiwari, Sr. Training Co-ordinator, Webtek Labs Pvt. Ltd.

67 students participated in the workshop. The workshop comprised of two useful market frameworks namely “Struts” and “Ajax with JQuery”. It emphasized on improving the general usage of advanced java by incorporating both these frameworks for better functionality, flexibility and ease for rising future programmers. Each student was given a personal machine to perform practical during the workshop.

Mr. Jayant explained the key features and improvement in Java Struts2 over its last version. He clarified different aspects about architecture of Java and discussed parameters to perform different operations on Web application. Students were encouraged to create their own application on their machines following expert’s step by step instructions which included detailed explanation on different options on creating Web Application using Ajax and JQuery.

Students got to learn about different aspects of User Security by performing different security operations on their machine and administering User Security in different platform.
